Despite\u00a0\u00a0 evidence\u00a0\u00a0 that physical\u00a0\u00a0 therapy\u00a0\u00a0 exists\u00a0\u00a0 throughout\u00a0\u00a0 phases\u00a0\u00a0 of\u00a0\u00a0 treatment\u00a0\u00a0 for\u00a0\u00a0 head\u00a0\u00a0 and\u00a0\u00a0 neck cancer patients ,\u00a0 combined\u00a0\u00a0 treatment\u00a0\u00a0 of\u00a0 manual therapy in the form of\u00a0 mobilization,\u00a0\u00a0 muscle energy technique\u00a0\u00a0 and\u00a0\u00a0 soft\u00a0\u00a0 tissue\u00a0\u00a0 mobilization\u00a0\u00a0 techniques\u00a0\u00a0 are rarely\u00a0\u00a0 available\u00a0\u00a0 for\u00a0\u00a0 clinical\u00a0\u00a0 practice. Hence, the present study was taken up.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Aim:<\/strong> To\u00a0\u00a0 study\u00a0\u00a0 the\u00a0\u00a0 effect\u00a0\u00a0 of\u00a0\u00a0 combined manual therapy in form of mobilization, Muscle\u00a0\u00a0 energy\u00a0\u00a0 technique\u00a0\u00a0 and\u00a0\u00a0 soft\u00a0\u00a0 tissue\u00a0\u00a0 mobilization\u00a0\u00a0 on neck pain, quality of life, mobility\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 in\u00a0\u00a0 Head\u00a0\u00a0 and\u00a0\u00a0 Neck Cancer Patients.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Settings and Design: <\/strong>The experimental study was undertaken in a tertiary care referral hospital over a period of three months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Materials and Methods: <\/strong>A total of fifteen(15) subjects including eleven (11) males and four (4) females post operative head and neck cancer subjects were given combined manual therapyin the form of cervical mobilization, muscle energy technique and Soft tissue Mobilization for duration of a week during the hospitalisation phase. Pain was assessed using Numeric pain rating Scale, Range of motion of cervical joint, shoulder joint and Temporomandibular joint, Functional assessment was done using Neck disability index and FACT H&amp;N Questionnaire. Statistical Analysis was done using SPSS Version 0.21. Students dependent \u2018t\u2019 test was used to analyse the pre and post treatment difference in all outcome measures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Results: <\/strong>The study demonstrated improvement in all the outcome measures in the study, the significant difference was seen in with p\u22640.001 except cervical rotation and shoulder range of motion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Conclusion: <\/strong>The study demonstrated Pain reduction, Improvement in Cervical, TMJ and shoulder range of motion, Improved Quality of life and reduction in disability following combined manual therapy approach.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>KEY WORDS: <\/strong>Head and Neck Cancer, Cervical Mobilization, Muscle energy technique, Soft tissue mobilization , quality of life, manual therapy, TMJ<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>REFERENCES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">World Health Organization.
