ABSTRACT\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Variations in the course of arteries of upper limb are often noticed everywhere. During routine cadaveric dissection, a superficial branch of radial artery running unusually was found in the left upperlimb of a male cadaver.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The superficial palmar branch of radial artery runs superficial to flexor retinaculum and enters the palm. In the present case, the superficial palmar branch of radial artery was piercing the flexor retinaculum and was running with in the carpal tunnel medial to median nerve.Thrombosis in this can compress the median nerve and lead to carpal tunnel syndrome.<\/p>\n
